• These birds are beautiful, rare, and expensive their diet also requires basic pellets, fruits and veggies, as well as nut fat which includes pecans, walnuts, almonds etc…

• Make sure you have at least a 36 wide cage with plenty of space and toys for enrichment

• Make sure you get this bird only if you have a good amount of time to take care of one. They are considered high maintenance but are absolutely worth it

• This species is known for being gentle and cuddly. They can also learn plenty of words

• They have a lifespan up to 35 years!
