The infamous Cahills Crossing in Kakadu National Park may be swarming with crocodile inhabitants, but the most dangerous behaviour often comes from its human visitors. 🐊

Visitors can view the powerful saltwater crocodiles from the safety of a high viewing platform. In 1987, a man was killed by a crocodile while attempting to walk across the crossing. Rangers stress the importance of obeying park guidelines, and only attempting to cross Cahills Crossing with a suitable 4WD vehicle when conditions are suitable.
