To let you understand them better why your mental faculties are so vital, consider life as a game. Mental faculties are the rules of the game

Now, if you ever played video games in your life the first thing you want to know are the rules

You want to know how to actually play the game and don’t lose. Learning how to play, is a different story

You learn by making mistakes, by trying different moves, you learn with time. Usually, the more you play the better you become, because you learn the tricks, you become familiar with the game and you just get better

Now, my question is… Why on earth we want to learn the rules of any video game or board game, and we don’t get to know, learn and master the rules of the most important game ever?

Our life!

How much easier it would be if we learn to play the game of life by mastering its rules? Beside the laws of the universe, that’s what the mental faculties can help us do

The mental faculties give us the ability to think clearly, consider them your superpower in the game of life, and they are:
Imagination, will, reason, perception, memory and intuition.

As you can see our six higher faculties are not something completely new, or something you never heard about it. It’s something so easy and so known from everybody, and everybody use them every day.

The only thing is that they use them unconsciously or they use them in the wrong way. That’s because nobody taught us how to use them, but they only taught us about the five senses.

And if you try to create anything by using “only” your five senses, you’ll soon be disappointed. You need to tap into your mental faculties to reach your highest potential and express fully your God-given gift.

Einstein once said: “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift, and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift”. What a powerful quote!
