Official Lusail Stadium Construction 4K Time-Lapse, FIFA World Cup 2022

Lusail is the largest of 8 stadiums custom built for the FIFA World Cup 2022. Host to the final game, Lusail will seat 80,000 fans. For 5 years, EarthCam used robotic and fixed cameras from hundreds of viewing angles and over 1.7 million images to capture the incredible design from Foster + Partners, headed by renowned British architect Norman Foster.

The time-lapse captures the intricate design inspired by the region's traditional fanar lanterns. Gold motifs are inspired by bowls and vessels from the golden age of craftsmanship in the Arab and Islamic world.
