Today I'm going to talk a bit about why I think Imperial Pike Guard are a better choice for new players to be recommended rather than the Spear Sergeants that we hear so much about.

OK, yes, Sgt's lead to Stalwarts but I would argue that is a grind for a bit later, it takes a long time! IPG are immediately useful, stop all cav (Liaos... maybe) and are an incredibly useful team play unit that while slow is actually pretty flexible - hear me out!
