In today’s video, let's go on a journey to replace the Airlift Strut bearings. This process may also apply to some Japenese coilovers such as Tein and KTS, etc, as well. Please measure, current bearings, or research your bearing size, before ordering.

You will need a 17mm to remove the nut off the Airlift strut, and big C-clamp, small press, or in my case, a rented ball joint press, to remove and install the strut bearing on the strut mount.

It seems that Airlift and Tein uses this mythical sized bearing that you can't source from anywhere, but I found a eBay shop in Russia and I gave them a try.

Follow along to see how simple it is. I can see the possibility of the allen heads stripping off the bottom of the strut mount. You may have to use some heat to loosen up the loctite.
