Can technology used in developing countries help overcome the challenge of healthcare delivery in rural communities of Australia? In this talk, Dr. Ari Isman reflects on his own experiences working in geographically isolated hospitals and explores how inspiring solutions to medical problems can be found in places we least expect, we just need to open our eyes and look out of the box to realise it. Ari Isman grew up by the beaches in Sydney, graduated high school in Barcelona and then completed his medical training in North Queensland. With a keen interest in critical care medicine and aeromedical retrievals, Ari passionately believes that rural medicine in Australia needs to look out of the box for alternative solutions to improve patient care and save lives.
