This is surprisingly the first time I've ever bothered to try beating this game all the way without cheats, as the last time I played this single player was as a kid in the arcades and never even got to Juggernaut. Marvel Super Heroes would come out and I completely forgot this game was a thing... The other day we got to talking about Psylocke on our ryona discord and it gave me the old nostalgia bug to play MSH, but a certain member insisted I play COTA instead for.... reasons... Eventually I folded and began this run...

Little did I know just how much literal pain I was going to be in for. You know it's bad when a short 8 stage Arcade mode is 2 AND A HALF HOURS long for me to finish... and 75% of it, over 90 minutes of that, was stuck on the final boss, Magneto. Dude just flat-out doesn't obey the rules of the game and is blatantly overpowered.
IMO, COTA Magneto is probably one of the cheapest Final Bosses Capcom has ever made... It's one of the first times my left hand on the D-Pad physically hurt trying to beat this bastard as time went on.

Doesn't help that the fighting in COTA is radically different than any other Vs. game and it took a long time to adjust... and the AI being absurdly block heavy to 80% of attacks... I'm just glad I can finally say I beat this game without cheats as Psylocke without being a master of the game (far from it...), but man did she and I suffer doing this... Guess I'll never take later games for granted after this.
