Foraging for bay nuts from the California bay laurel tree, also known as Oregon Myrtle, California bay, bay laurel, pepperwood and many other names. This tree grows native to Oregon and California. Mostly along the coast and in some places in the Sierras. Native Americans used the nuts from this tree as a source of food.
