These past few weeks have been pretty rough... my mother-in-law ended up passing away suddenly, and it's always an eye-opener when people leave this life sooner than expected. I was listening to some random music on Spotify and "One Life" by Mike Perry came on. Although this song is about someone who is missing someone in their life (most likely a past relationship), the first part of the chorus is what really stood out to me...

"All we ever get is one life...So I think that we better spend it right.."

Thinking about my mother-in-law, she definitely was one who lived life to it's fullest and "spent it right". I can go on and on, but that's the main message I'd like to convey. We never know when our time is up, so live your best life and spend it right!
