The Zebco 808 is a tough no nonsense reel though is dose share features of the better quality reels, coned pickup cap, the ability to switch from left and right handed retrieve and the stainless steel reel foot. good reel but my only knocks are the size and due to its size the weight. its a heavy reel and in combination with a heavier rod its a lot to handle. i don't recommended it as a cast and retrieve reel, much better suited for cut bait or trolling.
