If you plan to visit Fethiye, here's everything about reaching Fethiye from Cappadocia and other cities, things to do, places to stay, traveling in Fethiye, etc.

🚌 How to Reach Fethiye From Cappadocia, Denizli, Ankara, Antalya and Istanbul

You can take a bus or a flight to reach Fethiye. There is an airport in Fethiye which is well-connected to many places inside and outside Turkey.

If you are on a budget, then you can take a direct bus from nearby major cities such as Istanbul, Denizli, Ankara, Antalya, and more. The bus will cost somewhere between 80 - 500 TL (depending on the distance you cover).

🛏️ Stay in Fethiye - I booked a hostel dorm room at HZD Apartments which was both economical and easily accessible. The price is 7 Euros for a night and it includes a locker, free WiFi, water, shared kitchen access, hairdryer, and more.

You can also do your laundry for an additional 5 Euros here. Most importantly, it is close to the bus stations for both intercity travel and intra-city travel.

🏰 Most of the places are within walking distance in Fethiye such as the Amyntas Ruins, Castle, Port Side, and more. You can enjoy a walk around the city to explore more what it has to offer.

🚌 There are local buses and taxis also available in Fethiye. You can choose to pay cash when boarding the bus or get the Kent Card for 15 TL and travel at a discounted price.

🥙 Food is pretty cheap in Fethiye, especially in the center area. You can easily get a filling meal for 15 - 20 TL (75 - 100 INR). From kebabs to doners, you can get it all at an affordable price here.

Another option is to cook food at your hostel and save some extra bucks to spend on the activities around Fethiye.

🌇 The sunset point in the video is a 30-minute drive from the center and there is no bus plying that route. If you wish to see the sunset, then you will need to hire a taxi or rent a car/scooter. Or maybe try hitchhiking.
