Tettenhall Through Time - Midland Memories.

Revisiting the subject of Midland Memories -
Here's a glimpse of a pleasant Wolverhampton suburb that still retains some of its rural character. Once the scene of a historic battle, rural Tettenhall on the north west outskirts of Wolverhampton has now become absorbed into the huge West Midlands conurbation.
For those who know this area clues to a more rural past are still in plain sight and memories from more recent years are still kept green, like the lovely picnics on the green and paddling in the shallow pool.
Been there and done that ....

P,S - The old pub featured toward the end of the video is called The Mermaid, a popular hostelry then and it still is today.
