UK-US collaboration Cancer Research Transatlantic DSE

Learn about NIHR's and MRC's opportunity for cancer-focused UK early/mid career researchers to spend between 6-12 months at the world-class National Cancer Institute (NCI) in Bethesda, United States (US).

The award will help researchers develop the necessary skills and experience to underpin the next phase of their research career and support the establishment of new collaborations, or the substantial development of existing collaborations, with researchers at the NCI.

Successful candidates will receive funding to cover the costs of their placement in the US, including salary, training and accommodation.
