A Grid System is a graphic design term and it is usually defined as a structure made up of horizontal and vertical lines that are used to arrange the content of a design.

Bootstrap’s grid system uses three main predefined classes which are the .container class, the .row class, and the column class.
These three predefined classes are used to build layouts of all shapes and sizes.
Thanks to these Bootstrap classes you can align your website elements or content in a responsive way
Bootstrap’s grid system allows up to 12 columns across a web page

It is not required that you use all 12 available columns

For example, if you want to use only three columns
Automatically, Bootstrap’s grid system has created three columns with equal width

Also, you can group the columns together to create wider columns
By specifying the width of each column
You will see that each column has a different width based on what we specified in the code

Always remember that you have to make sure that the sum all column width adds up to 12 or fewer

We can also define the width of a column based on breakpoints
