There was shock from some media outlets when Kim and Trump broke off their talks.
Some were fairly critical of Trump in particular.
But actually, the reaction has been fairly mixed, as our Choi Si-young reports.
Shortly after the abrupt end to the talks on Thursday, media outlets around the world had a range of reactions... some surprised, some critical and others willing to hold off judgement.

The Associated Press called the sudden end of the high-stakes meeting "stunning."
The Washington Post said it "amounted to a diplomatic failure" for Trump
The BBC concurred, saying the end result of "no agreement" is a failure that "will be viewed as a setback for self-styled dealmaker Trump."
The governments of China and Japan, though, didn't go so far as to call it a "failure."
Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson LU Kang told reporters that resolving issues that have been around for decades "cannot be done overnight."
He went on to say that talks and negotiations must continue.
Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said that the Japanese government is learning more about what really happened in the talks,... and that it will continue working with the United States along the way.
While President Trump didn't rule out future talks with Kim Jong-un, there's growing speculation about whether or not the leaders will meet again in near future.
