Italy ESC Selection (Festival Di Sanremo) 2021 Top 26 With Comments (After Show)

I'm getting this video out much later than I intended. I held out for when I could get my hands on proper HD performances from the first two nights as Raiplay was putting lower resolution captures on their site. I hope it's worth the wait!

As I explain most years, I'm not an Italian but I do appreciate that this is NOT a Eurovision national final in the traditional sense and I try to respond to the songs entirely based on my own personal taste and not whether they'd make good ESC entries or not. If I think something is appropriate for ESC, I will specifically mention it in the comment. Otherwise, please accept that these are my opinions about the songs and performance in their own right.

I'm also aware that a lot of ESC fans (not necessarily the Sanremo followers) are being very aggressive about their favourites in comment sections on these ranking videos. That's cool that you feel strongly about your favourites but try not to attack people for liking different songs than you. Just because you like your song doesn't automatically make it the best and doesn't automatically make me wrong for liking something else more. Be respectful and we'll happily talk about these entries below!
