This is my first successful EDF ground based carrier landing with the Freewing A4 Skyhawk. Mounted cockpit camera, functional tail hook, and arresting cables. I'm very impressed with the stability of the A4, once you get the rates correct. The Skyhawk has a natural nose up tendency on approach, making arrested landings a bit easier. But it does come in fast. Maintain a little power upon landing, for the power falls off quickly when you cut the throttle. Hopefully, the undercarriage will hold up for many more arrested landings. :)
