Custom DIY Motorized Kayak: Fine-Tuning for Top Performance

After the initial water test of my custom motorized kayak, I made a few key adjustments to perfect the build. In this video, I’ll walk you through the tweaks, including raising the steering bracket on the Minn Kota trolling motor to reduce cavitation, shortening the paracord steering cables for better control, and using Loctite to keep the speed adjustment knob secure. These changes made a huge difference in performance, and I’ll share how they impact speed, handling, and overall functionality on the water.
