How to Conduct a Bookkeeping Review - Efficiently Analyze if Bookkeeping Was Done Correctly

If you are a bookkeeper, at some point you may need to review the work of other bookkeepers. This might occur if you take over a client, and need to see if the bookkeeper before you did things correctly. When you begin to hire bookkeepers who work for you, you will also need to ensure that they did their work correctly before sending financial statements to the client. These are some of the steps I take when reviewing bookkeeping work.
