Eps 24 - Touring Lembata - The Last Whaling Village - Around Indonesia on my Small Motorcycle

Today's episode takes us on a journey through time, to a place which may be very controversial for many. The whaling village of Lamalera, in Lembata is one of the last remaining whaling villages in the world were traditional whale hunting is still practised as it was hundreds of years ago. This may not be for everyone as the day's catch is not one that is widely accepted in most western countries. Nonetheless, the people of Lamalera have shown themselves to be kind, hospitable and generous people who made this part of my trip a memorable one.
