Off Grid Ham Radio & Raspberry Pi Field Computer

Hello Operators.
In todays video is about off grid ham radio, and how we use our raspberry pi field computer, for off grid communications. We visit the cabin in Lapland, just above the Arctic Circle which serves as the staging area. Afterwards, we'll take the Nortent Gamme 4, raspberry pi, and Yaesu ft-817nd, heading out for some winter radio ops. This is all in preparation for winter field day.

In the previous video titled Ultimate Raspberry Pi build for ham radio, we discussed the strategy for an off grid Raspberry Pi field computer build, one we would use for portable ham radio field communications. In this video we take that Raspberry Pi to Lapland just above the Arctic Circle, to put the rpi powered ham radio station to the test.
