This trip was WILD from the start. Me and my brother went to the Nashville airport to pick up some of our family and friends and my girlfriend came too! I hadn’t seen her in TWO YEARS so I surprised her with flowers at baggage claim (we’ve been together for 6 years so it was a big moment 🥹).
After that, we headed back to the house, unpacked, and made homemade ice cream with fresh milk from our cows (yes, real cows 😂). Then we all piled into our 12-passenger van and hit the road to Sevierville, TN!
On the way we stopped at Buc-ee’s! If you’ve never been, you HAVE to go. It’s basically a gas station on steroids. We loaded up on snacks and drinks, then finally made it to our cabin. And not just any cabin… this place had an indoor pool, hot tub, a bunkroom with arcade games, the works.
That night we went straight to Soaky Mountain Water Park, only 5 minutes from where we’re staying. The wave pool was a solid 10/10. Then the next day, we hit up Dollywood, which honestly might be my favorite theme park now. The coasters were insane (the eagle one felt like flying), the bubble show was actually super cool, and yes… we demolished like 3 boxes of Dolly’s cinnamon bread 😅.
Oh, and I did a fake proposal during one of our group photos just to mess with everyone 💍😂 Not the real thing… yet.
This whole trip has been such a blast, good people, good food, and a ton of laughs. Thanks for tagging along!
