Dual Iso vs. Standard Raw Comparison - Magic Lantern

In this video I will show you the difference between Dual Iso Raw (HDR) and Standard raw photos. The Dual iso feature is great but you must sacrifice resolution in shadows/highlights as well as a great deal of noise in shadows.

This feature allows for High Dynamic Range (HDR) photographs/video in just one shot. You can choose your iso combination, ex. 100/400, 100/1600/, 400/1600 and many more combinations. Only for Raw photos/Videos. I enjoy this feature but it is still a work in progress for the Developers at Magic Lantern.

I made a mistake when exposing for this video. When shooting raw it is best to expose to the right (ettr) so that less noise is visible but unfortunately I did not do this.
