JB Gator X 17' 10" Caravan Upgrades AFTER Factory & DIY FAIL

Factory installed 12v power setup not fit for purpose.
DIY upgrade also falls short of off-grid power needs.

David and Deb brought theIR JB Gator Caravan to Outech OffGrid because their 12v power setup wasn’t suitable for their planned travels.

After a thorough fact-finding meeting the brief was defined:
1. Upgrade system to be safe and compliant;
2. Repurpose existing Enerdrive and Victron components;
3. Design system capable of extended off-grid power with minimal access to mains;
4. Install a RELIABLE & INDEPENDENT Power system;
5. Optimise functionality and monitoring.

✅ Essentially, Deb and David wanted a power system in their caravan that is capable of running the air-conditioner and other 240v appliances off grid, hassle free, for a planned 12 month trip around Australia.
