Wondering about the ferry from Nova Scotia to Newfoundland? In this video, we give you a tour of the ship - showing areas that you can relax in, get a view in, and even sleep in.

The Marine Atlantic fleet is large, and there are several ships that you can take, however most of them are designed in the exact same way - so seeing this video should give you an idea of what to expect no matter which ferry to take.

When boarding, you will see there are several levels. From the parking structure, you will take an elevator up. You will get off on the main level. Its here you can sit and watch tv in one of their many comfy chairs, grab a quite bite at the cafe, or if you are in the mood for more, spending some time in the restaurant.

Need some shopping done? In addition to the things above, you can also find a small gift shop on this level.

Heading up a level, you will find the optional state rooms. Many choose this option if they are going overnight (as they have beds) and if they have families where they need a private space of their own.

At the very top desk, be sure to head outside to the sun and viewing deck. We spent a lot of our time here, as we had fantastic weather on our way over.
