In this behind the scenes video I show you how I captured my best waterfall photo yet. I was in the alps a few weeks ago and it was pouring rain the whole time. So I did some research on google to find a waterfall to photograph in the area, because if it's raining, photographing waterfalls is always an option.

I found a relatively unknown cascade not too far from where we were staying and went there not really knowing what to expect. Since not many photos existed of this place I wasn't sure, if it would be photogenic.

It was. What I found was one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Germany. And the rain of the past days had it pumping water. It wasn't easy to photograph though, because all obvious compositions had some flaws, which I explain in the video. In the end I settled on one composition, which I find represents this waterfall with it's lush surroundings the best.

I explain my compositional choices, show you the before and after in photoshop and explain some of the photo editing I did.
