A month later, the Pokémon Company announced that the anime would move on from Ash as a main character.

The Washington Post’s video game team Launcher sat down with Natochenny to discuss her experience as a voice actor after taking over for Veronica Taylor as Ash — and what’s next for her and the Pokémon anime.
