A group of individuals stopped his Mahindra Thar vehicle, vandalized the car, and assaulted him. The incident occurred while Hariprasad Reddy was traveling in the car with a woman. Visuals related to the attack have since gone viral on social media. According to reports, one of the attackers allegedly assaulted the woman and later attacked Hariprasad Reddy with a slipper. Despite the assault, Hariprasad Reddy reportedly did not retaliate and left the scene along with the woman. It is being claimed that the attacker is a local village sarpanch near Tirupati and also belongs to the YSRCP. Sources suggest that the attacker is the husband of the woman and that the assault may have been triggered by a personal dispute. The incident has sparked widespread criticism on social media, with netizens questioning the conduct of political leaders and demanding accountability from political parties.
