Who are we?
We are Bedford Rowing Club Junior Rowing Squad. We are a bunch of 13–18-year-olds from local state schools who have fallen in love with the sport of rowing who have ambitions to win both locally and at a national level. Our Junior Squad is one of the most successful in the region regularly winning events locally, regionally and nationally. Past squad athletes have gone on to be crowned Junior and European World Champions, with one of them hoping to race in LA at the 2028 Olympics.

Why are we crowdfunding?
Our annual training camp in Portugal is a game-changer. It gives us a full week to train intensively, build fitness, sharpen technique, and strengthen our teamwork. But more than that, it brings us together as a tight-knit, supportive community - one that lifts each other up on and off the water.

Rowing is an incredible sport, but it comes with high costs - from equipment and kit to travel and coaching. These are usually covered by our families, but we want to ease that burden. That’s why we’re asking for your help.

How we’ll spend the money raised
Every donation will go directly toward:
