Welcome to the annual anime pumpkin carving competition!! We have a fierce competition this year full of experienced contestants as well as complete novices. Join Sam, Josh, and Jose as they go through the ins and outs of creating a great Anime pumpkin from start to finish!

This year Sam is creating a Bleach themed pumpkin featuring Rukia using the classic glove from the first season, in honor of the Bleach Boys podcast of course. Next, we have Jose who is presenting a My Hero Academia Pumpkin featuring the classic All Might face that everyone has come to love. And last we have Josh, who wants to keep the theme of being the edgiest person in the room up so he is going with a Darker than Black pumpkin that may or may not have something to do with his costume this year!! So stick around learn how to carve a styrofoam pumpkin and enjoy your Halloween right here with the boys from Otalku!!

Anime Pumpkin Carving Tutorial:
The boys google anime pumpkin stencils and from there you select and print your design onto a standard paper. Then tape the stencil of choice onto your pumpkin, poke holes through the paper into the pumpkin as a brief outline. Take off the paper and begin carving the pumpkin until you have your wonderful design. IF you are using a styrofoam pumpkin don't put an actual candle to light it up, YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE A BAD TIME!! Use a glowstick.
