Who is it for? If you have never tried flying a drone before or if you have been discouraged by other toy drones you may have picked up off the shelf of a local store, and you would really love to learn to fly. Default settings MODE 2 - Standard fight control settings for most Drones. (Page 13 in manual) You can change to mode 1 by long-pressing the trimmer button while you turn on the transmitter.
I recommend staying in Mode 2 until you get used to flying

Two methods of taking off. (Mentioned in the manual but three ways to take off)
1. Press the take-off landing button
2. With the Drone flat in your palm toss it in the air gently
3. If you simply push up on the left stick you can take off.

This drone has altitude-Hold but it's okay, it will drift but you can correct it easily and it is easy to get used to. If anything it will train you to be able to properly maneuver the drone. Practice with this little drone will help you get better at flying larger drones.
