DP/30: Suffragette, Carey Mulligan

She burst onto the American film scene with An Education just 6 years ago (2009) and has become an actress whose name assures you that any film she is in will be ambitious and thoughtful and sometimes truly great. She's gotten awards buzz for pretty much every film she has done, from Brothers to Never Let Me Go to Shame to Drive to Inside Llewyn Davis and now, Suffragette. She spoke to David Poland about her latest work.
