Now the question is: can they build on that momentum with a stronger roster?

All eyes are on true freshman Bryce Underwood, the No. 1 overall recruit who's been compared to Vince Young and has reportedly taken all the first-team reps. But is it fair to expect a true freshman to immediately fix an offense that was historically bad at passing? We debate whether Michigan should start Underwood right away or ease him in behind Mikey Keene.

The defense should be loaded in the front seven, but the schedule is brutal early - road games at Oklahoma, Nebraska, and USC could lead to a disastrous 3-4 start if the offense can't get going quickly.
