This famous Alcoholics Anonymous Speaker, Anthony H. shares his message of recovery after 16 years sober. He begins with a detailed account of what happened on December 29th, 1975, when he called the AA helpline, and was introduced to the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous.

He started drinking heavily at the Royal Acting Academy, and drank for 15 years, for what he described as a “dull long dreary boring tooth ache, sad rambling, morose and tearful.” On the few times he attempted to stop drinking on his own, he had little success, and often ended in a humorous debacle.
