As an angel investor, I see hundreds of pitches a year. The most important thing I look for might surprise you. AUTHENTICITY. When I look for a partner/investment, I'm seeking an entrepreneur that's relatable and sincerely passionate about their business. Sometimes the presenters are nervous....and that's OK. In fact, I appreciate the nerves because often it's an indicator of how much they care...I'm inspired when the nervousness is turned into positive energy in the pitching delivery.

I sit down with Elfrena Foord the chairperson for SVP Fast Pitch to talk about the incredible work they are doing for educational non-profits. Elfrena and her team coach participating non-profits on how to best tell their story for a chance to raise money in front of thousands of people at the Golden 1 Center.
