ABOUT
Witches of Scotland seeks justice for nearly 4,000 accused witches (mostly women) from 1563–1736. Founded in 2020 by Claire Mitchell KC and Zoe Venditozzi, the campaign works to secure legal pardons, a government apology, and a national memorial.

In 2022, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon issued a formal apology. The Witches of Scotland Tartan was registered in 2025 as a living memorial.
