Overview:
The Electro Harmonix Big Muff is an iconic guitar pedal. Many iterations of this classic stompbox have been created since its inception in the mid '70s, and Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins is arguably the most renowned user. Pioneering the huge, engulfing "wall of fuzz" sound that defined the band's groundbreaking sophomore effort Siamese Dream (1993), Corgan relied on a particular version of the circuit to attain that massive sound - the V4.

Also known as the "Op Amp" Big Muff, originals have sold on the second-hand market for eye-watering amounts. And while tone-chasers have worked extremely hard to replicate the distinctive Siamese Dream fuzz sound, Electro Harmonix has listened to fans and given them a pedal that delivers Corgan's tone in a compact stompbox - at an affordable price too!

Collaboratively designed with the man himself, the Electro Harmonix Op Amp Big Muff has all the high-gain, saturated goodness that players have tried to emulate for over 25 years. With the 3 classic controls you'd expect to find on a Big Muff (Sustain, Tone and Volume), you can carefully craft your optimal fuzz sound. Rolling in more top-end cut the higher you turn the Tone up, you can also bring in some sub-octave warmth when you set it lower.
