UPDATE: According to this page here http://www.triangspacextoys.info/SpGA... the vintage LP Toys Mercury capsules are marked "Hong Kong" on their nosecones, though at the time of recording I could not make the script out on either of the capsules I believe are of vintage manufacture. Contemplating if an edit is in order, apologies in advance if this upload is replaced or for any confusion which may result. Point is that the marking is much more obvious on the cake decoration copies as demonstrated by the examples shown.

All dates cited are approximate as none of the toy pieces or the "Space Exploring" box set shown have manufacturing dates marked on them. Also be advised that the term "Checkers Rockets" is one that I coined to refer to the small plastic rockets made by LP Toys decorated with a "Purina" checker design label.
