Wei Zi Qi, a carefree heir to a wealthy family, becomes embroiled in a fierce power struggle for control of his father’s firm. His antics often push the patience of his dedicated executive assistant, Yuan Xia. When Yuan Xia is falsely accused of misconduct and forced out of the firm, her troubles worsen as she collapses, ends up in the hospital, and is diagnosed with a terminal disease. At her lowest point, she receives a phone call from the "future" Zi Qi. This mysterious call suggests that the "present-day" Zi Qi might be able to save her from her dire situation, possibly leading to love as the intrigue deepens.
