Nach einem Anruf vom Fernsehen, ob ich noch einmal fahren könnte für die Sendung "Zeitreise" 40 Jahre nach der Weltmeisterschaft in Norden 1983 meinte ich, wenn ich einenRennanzug finde wo ich noch hineinpasse ja. Die Suche verlief leider negativ. So blieb mir nichts anderes übrig 12,5 Kilogramm in 4 Wochen abzuhungern. Ich wollte ja auch nicht wie eine Wurst auf dem Bike aussehen. Dann mußte ich selbstverständlich auch noch ein wenig Kraft und Kondition behalten. So etwas funktioniert aber leider nur mit eiserner Disziplin wie Ihr Euch denken könnt. Wer mich kennt weiß aber, das so etwas bei mir sogar im biblischen Alter noch funktionieren kann. Was dabei heraus kam seht Ihr in diesen TV Beitrag. Viel Spaß.

English at the end. After a call from TV asking if I could ride again for the show "Zeitreise" 40 years after the World Championships in NORDEN 1983. I said if I could find a racing suit that I could still fit in, yes. Unfortunately, the search was negative. So I had no choice but to starve 12.5 kilograms in 4 weeks. I didn't want to look like a sausage on the bike either. Then, of course, I had to keep a bit of strength and stamina. Unfortunately, something like this only works with iron discipline, as you can imagine. But anyone who knows me knows that something like this can still work for me even at biblical age.
