ट्रांजिट ओरिएंटेड डवलपमेंट (TOD)नीति को लेकर बड़ी खबर नीति को प्रदेश में किया गया लागू नगरीय विकास विभाग ने इस बारे में जारी की अधिसूचना राज्य मंत्रिमंडल की मंजूरी के बाद जारी की अधिसूचना UDH नीति लागू करने के लिए जल्द आदेश करेगा जारी संबंधित विकास प्राधिकरण TODजोन के लिए चिन्हित करेंगे TODनोड चिन्हित TODनोड के 800 मीटर के दायरे में निर्धारित होगा TODजोन इस जोन के भूमि व संपत्ति मालिकों के लिए होगा स्वैच्छिक TODनीति के तहत भूमि या संपत्ति का विकास करना होगा स्वैच्छिक इस नीति के तहत स्कीम लाने वालों को ही मिलेगा नीति का फायदा इच्छुक भूमि मालिक TODस्कीम बनाने के लिए कर सकेंगे आवेदन उनके प्रस्ताव की जांच कर प्राधिकरण स्कीम की देंगे मंजूरी | 10 December 2025

Rajasthan takes a major step toward modern urban infrastructure with the official implementation of the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Policy. After being approved by the State Cabinet, the Urban Development and Housing (UDH) Department has issued the notification, paving the way for high-density, well-connected, and eco-friendly urban expansion around public transport systems. Under this policy, development will be voluntary for land and property owners within 800 meters of identified TOD nodes, to be marked by respective development authorities. The policy will encourage mixed-use development, public transport–focused growth, pedestrian-friendly urban planning, affordable housing clusters, and commercial activity, boosting real estate, investment, employment, and sustainable urbanization in Rajasthan. Interested land owners can apply to bring TOD schemes and will receive policy benefits only upon approval of their proposals. With TOD, Rajasthan aims to transform cities into smart, accessible, low-carbon, and transit-supported urban hubs, reducing traffic burden and creating world-class infrastructure.
