A Week in Belize with the Sandhurst Military Academy | ACCESS

In this episode, BFBS Creative fly to Central America to find out why Marne Company from Sandhurst are in Belize and what lessons are being taught to Belizean officer cadets.

The 25 cadets are selected from the Belizean Defence Force (BDF), Belizean Police and Belizean Coast Guard. During their 5 week training, they learn about leadership, and how to survive and operate in the harsh jungle environment. Ultimately, the cadets are training to gain a commission as officers in their respective service.

The lessons taught here by Sandhurst go beyond just leadership. The officer cadets show us how their mindsets have changed and welcome gender equality into their military structure and society.
