Update: Car now has over 40,000km on this build with no issues. Forged pistons are fine for a daily driver if you warm it up correctly.

2009 STI I rebuilt for a friend. Spun #1 rod bearing at 100,000 km. So I rebuilt it with a new oem crank and CP pistons. I left out much of the cleaning process since I thought it would be too boring. There was bearing material everywhere and it took a while to clean it.

The video is sped up 3000%. Filmed with a 5d mkii, gopro hero 3 black and a hero 3+ black.
