Well Pump Dry Run Relay - I finally fixed it!

Our shallow well jet pump continues to run and overheat when our well runs dry. In a previous video I tried to fix this by adding an additional thermostat on the pump motor. In this video I finally found a solution by integrating a dry run pump relay that detects a drop in current draw by the motor. The pump draws 4 amps when under load and pumping water. When the well runs dry the pump draws fewer amps and the relay detects that and disconnects power to the pump motor.
