The cost of Varanasi Ring Road Phase-III is Rs 1355 crore, in which four flyovers, three ROBs and 19 underpasses are also being built along with a bridge over Ganga along the road. Today we are giving you the ground report of package 2 of this Ring Road Phase 2, in which you will also have a live overview of the current situation of the construction work being done here.

For more information about this present situation, let us tell you that definitely the work of Ring Road Phase One and Two was completed within the stipulated time limit but Phase Three may take a little more time. The target was given to make it public utility by completing the work in March 2022, but now this target is likely to be achieved by November.

During this extended time period, the bridge being built on the Ganges will be ready as a one-way. After this the vehicle will also be able to fill the furrow. However, complete construction of the bridge may take till March 2023. After this the whole of Banaras will be surrounded by the outer circle of Ring Road.

After this it will be easy for heavy vehicles to reach the destination without entering the city. At the same time, the problem of jam in the city will go away to a great extent.

Let us inform that the work of Phase Three, about 27 km long, is going on at a fast pace. The executing company Gammon has increased the resources. Connecting Phase One in Sandha, eight kilometer road through Chiraigaon block till Babhanpurwan has been completed to a great extent. Which we have given in our previous video.

Let us tell you that the work of three underpasses is in the final stage. The base has been prepared for the construction of a bridge over the Gangayat Ganga from Babhanpurwan. This bridge is being built about one kilometer 651 meters in length. There will be two-way on this bridge. To come from one, you have to go through the other. The width of the bridge is 25 meters. The width of the one-way will be 12 metres. Apart from this, service road and two and a half meter wide divider is being constructed on both sides of the land. Plants are also being planted on the divider. Talking about the bridge, more than 50 percent work has been done across the Ganga. The time-consuming basis has already been prepared.

The work of constructing two ROBs and six underpasses is going on in Chandauli of Ring Road across the Ganga. At the same time, the work of the third phase of the ring road across the Ganga has been made service road from Chiraigaon to Babhanpurwa, main road and underpass at three places. The work of under pass is going on in full swing at two places. If the work continues at this pace, the work will be completed before March-2022.
