How to Sew Ken's Chill Shirt - Part 1

Barbie was always getting the most of your doll clothes sewing creations, while Ken almost always gets left with not enough. For this video, we are making our dear boy Ken his CHILL SHIRT - a short-sleeved, simpler, and easier-to-make version. In this series, I will teach you how I sewed his collar and sleeves - two of our most dreaded parts to sew! I promise they should be easy!

The tools and materials you will use in this project are the following:

- Doll shirt sewing pattern (You can get this specific pattern from my shop, link here)

- Paper scissors
- Light-weight fabric
- pencil or fabric marker
- measuring tape
- anti-fray solution
- medium-sized paintbrush
- fabric scissors
- sewing machine or hand-sewing needles
- matching thread
- pair of scissors for cutting thread
- thread for basting (preferably in a contrasting color)
- tweezer
- dressmakers' pins
- seam ripper
- doll for fitting
- snaps or velcro tape for closure
- optional interfacing fabric
