Описание к видео Seizures in Dogs - Causes, Diagnosis and Treatment | Southeast Veterinary Neurology

A seizure is an abnormal burst of electrical activity in the brain. The cells that make up the brain, neurons, communicate with each other using electrical signals. A seizure is when there is too much electrical activity in the brain, all at the same time. When this happens, pets may fall on their side, may paddle their limbs, vocalize, urinate or defecate and salivate. Most seizures last anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes.
