Practice Direction 57AC: helping your witnesses to cut through the noise

Nicholas and Oliver will discuss the requirements, pitfalls and potential impact of the new practice direction covering trial witness statements in the Business and Property Courts. They will consider how lawyers can use the requirement to revisit relevant practice to ensure that their clients are giving evidence in a manner which is not only compliant, but also efficient, helpful and focused on the necessary issues.

Nicholas’ practice includes both traditional and commercial chancery work. His practice also includes financial services with a focus on retail banking and consumer credit.

Oliver specialises in property, probate and estates, and commercial work, and has particular experience in the law relating to utilities.
