Redfish Fly Tying Tutorial | The Kwan

The Kwan is one of those classic shrimp patterns. It's great for redfish, bonefish, snook, and many other species that eat shrimp.

This is an extremely versatile fly that can be tied in all kinds of color variations, sizes, and even shapes. Size 2's and 4's are great for redfish, but 6's and even 8's can be great for bonefish. The lighter tans and sand colors are a great color combo, but so are olives and rust. Purple and tan is one of my personal favorite redfish colors.
